Gwinnett Co., GA (April 16, 2025) – On April 16, a traffic accident in Gwinnett County resulted in injuries. Police say the wreck occurred at approximately 5:39 p.m. on Interstate 85 near Indian Trail Road. The H.O.T. lane, as well as two left lanes, were blocked while responders worked at the scene. One or more people suffered injuries in the crash, and paramedics worked to help them at the scene before transporting those in need of further medical care to local hospitals by ambulance. While the road was blocked, officers asked local drivers to use Buford Highway as an alternate route. Police in Gwinnett County continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
