Cornelia, GA (January 15, 2025) – One person was sent to the hospital after a car crash in Cornelia. According to reports from police, the two-car crash happened at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Monday, January 13. Multiple responders went to the scene on Chase Road near the Habersham County E-911 Center. One person had to be extricated from one of the involved vehicles, police said. Another individual was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville to be treated for injuries. The names of the people involved have not been reported at this time. Police in Cornelia continue to investigate.
