Dahlonega, GA (November 25, 2024) – A pedestrian lost his life after he was hit by a pickup truck in Dahlonega. The pedestrian was crossing Georgia Route 9 near Georgia Route 60 in Lumpkin County on Friday night, November 25. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene just after 6:00 p.m. The pedestrian was identified as 24-year-old Angel Gabrial Rocha of Dahlonega. Police in Lumpkin County continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The driver of the pickup truck has not been identified at this time.
