Gainesville, GA – Car Wreck on Hwy 129 near Smallwood Results in Injuries

Gainesville, GA (February 12, 2025) – Police and paramedics were sent to the scene of a car accident in Gainesville on February 11. Shortly before 11:30 p.m., responders were seen working at the crash site on Highway 129 near Smallwood. Vehicles collided in the area under circumstances still being investigated by police. At least one individual needed emergency medical attention at the scene.

The road was closed while responders worked in the area creating traffic delays for local motorists. Police in Gainesville continue to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
