Gainesville, GA (October 16, 2024) – At approximately 6:11 p.m., on October 16, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Gainesville. Emergency responders including EMTs and police officers were dispatched to the crash scene shortly after the wreck to help the involved parties. Responders were seen at the site of the incident on Interstate 985 near Highway 129. At this time, the total number of injured victims has not been reported. Those with serious injuries were treated and transported to the hospital as needed. Currently, the cause of the crash has not been reported.
