Gwinnett Co., GA (March 1, 2025) – Shortly before 2:00 p.m. on March 1, a car crash happened in Gwinnett County that required an emergency response. Reports from authorities show the incident took place on Interstate 985 near Friendship Drive. At least one person was hurt in the wreck that closed two right lanes of the interstate.

EMS were seen helping wounded individuals at the crash site, and those in need of extensive medical care were taken to the hospital by ambulance. The names of the victims have not been reported at this time. Traffic delays occurred in the area, and local drivers were asked to find alternate routes while the scene was occupied. Police in Gwinnett County continue to investigate the details of the accident.
