Gwinnett Co., GA (February 10, 2025) – A pedestrian crash took the life of one person in Gwinnett County on Monday morning, February 10. The incident involved a police vehicle that struck a man on Beaver Ruin Road near GA 85. Responders were sent to the scene just before 1:00 a.m. after receiving reports concerning the incident. The involved officer was reportedly headed east on the roadway when the pedestrian was attempting to cross. Responders were sent to the scene to render aid and transport the victim to the hospital. Sadly, he later lost his life due to the extent of his injuries. The Gwinnett County Police Accident Investigation Unit is working to investigate the details of the crash.
