Habersham Co., GA – Five Hurt in Four-Car Crash on GA-365

Habersham Co., GA (March 7, 2025) – Five people were hospitalized after a four-car crash on GA-365 in Habersham County. Multiple responders were sent to the crash scene near the intersection of Demorest-Mt. Airy Highway on Thursday afternoon, March 6.

According to information provided by a Habersham County Public Information Officer, the Rabun County Med Unit, Demorest Fire Department, Corneila Fire Department, and Habersham County Emergency Services responded to the scene. Of the five injured victims, two were taken to Stephens County Hospital by the Rabun County Med Unit. Three other patients were also transported to Stephens County Hospital by Habersham EMS. One other patient was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville. Traffic was disrupted at the busy intersection for approximately an hour while emergency responders worked to clear the scene. Police in Habersham County continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
