Georgia Auto Collisions
Georgia sees more than 400,000 car accidents every year, and the consequences are often devastating. These crashes result in over 1,500 deaths annually and leave approximately 50,000 people injured. Common causes of these collisions include distracted driving, impaired driving due to drugs or alcohol, and speeding—reckless behaviors that continue to endanger lives on Georgia’s roads.
Across the U.S., negligent driving is a leading factor in traffic accidents. In fact, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that over 94% of car crashes nationwide stem from driver error. These mistakes—often preventable—can turn ordinary moments into tragic events. When a driver is distracted or under the influence, their ability to react in time is significantly impaired, increasing the risk of a serious or fatal collision.
