Georgia Traffic Accidents
Every year, the United States sees millions of auto accidents. These crashes often end in injuries for those involved. Sadly, about 1% of these accidents end in death for those involved. This does not seem like a large percentage, but when we consider that over 6 million auto accidents happen per year, we realize that about 40,000 people lose their lives annually in auto accidents in the US.
In Georgia, almost 2,000 people are killed per year in traffic accidents. At this time, the main reason auto accidents happen in the Peach State is currently distracted driving, which causes over half of the auto accidents reported in the state. In 2022, 53% of Georgia auto accidents involved at least one distracted driver. Driver distraction is a problematic issue across the US, causing over 3,000 people to lose their lives per year.
If you or someone you love were recently hurt in a traffic accident that you believe may have been caused by a negligent driver, you deserve to be able to recover without worrying about money. You may be facing several challenges during the aftermath of your accident, including serious injuries as well as emotional and financial stress.
