Georgia Car Crashes
Georgia sees hundreds of thousands of traffic accidents per year. On average, around 300,000 collisions are reported annually in the Bluegrass State. A large percentage of these wrecks end in injuries and even fatalities. Sadly, over 1,500 people lose their lives per year in traffic collisions in the state.
Drivers who are careless and reckless behind the wheel often cause serious crashes that result in injuries and even death for those involved. In one recent year, over 93% of reported auto accidents in the US involved a negligent driver. Distraction, intoxication, and speeding are the top three leading types of careless driving seen on American roadways today.
Driver distraction alone contributes to millions of collisions yearly, accounting for approximately 10% of all deadly auto accidents. Additionally, intoxicated driving is behind approximately 30% of all fatal accidents, while fatigued driving is behind over 1,500 fatalities per year.
